Reimagining Truffula’s vegan cheese packaging positions this purpose-driven company for new market growth.
Truffula is combining a love for fine foods with a focus on nutrition, all while breaking the mold of what you think vegan cheese is. Founded by Raw Food Chef, Allison Landin, Truffula is a small consumer goods company crafting crave-worthy vegan cheese, using ethically sourced, whole food ingredients. With an uncompromising commitment to texture and flavour, Truffula customers can indulge in delicious cheese while still managing their dietary restrictions and honouring their ethical diet choices.
Allison came to me with the goal of creating new packaging that could support a substantial increase in Western Canadian distribution. The previous craft paper packaging worked well for farmers markets and local shops, but for distribution the cheese wheel packaging had to meet labelling requirements and be ready to compete on larger store shelves. The cartons were designed to reflect the premium nature of the product, while speaking to the artisanal and craftmade core of the brand. With this new packaging, Truffula has already expanded into new markets and distribution channels, and is positioned for continued growth.
