Maple is an award-winning quarterly print magazine dedicated to exploring the best in natural health and organic living through a Canadian lens. Founded by co-publishers Katharine Herringer and Iván Álvarez de Lorenzana, Maple brings a carefully curated experience to readers across Canada. With its serene, beautifully minimalist aesthetic, the magazine guides readers through interviews with leaders in organics and natural health, alongside thoughtful reviews of wellness trends and products.
I was thrilled to collaborate with the publishing team as the graphic designer across multiple issues. I have a deep love for editorial design—the photographs, the copy, the smallest of details, and how they come together to create a visual story. It’s a puzzle I delight in solving. Working within Maple's established style guide, I designed article layouts that artfully balanced photography and typography. My work built on the magazine’s refined aesthetic, ensuring each issue felt cohesive, engaging, and true to Maple's vision.
