This nonprofit is advancing cannabis research and evidence-based education.
The Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids (CCIC) is an interdisciplinary, national nonprofit and the trusted source for evidence-based education and research about the medical and non-medical use of cannabinoids and cannabis. Headed by Executive Director, Matthew Hill, PhD and managed by Director of Operations, Tiffany Lee, PhD, the CCIC represents a group of researchers, healthcare professionals and educators, and is the national hub for balanced scientific perspectives about the biological, health and societal effects of cannabis.
As the CCIC’s mandate broadened, Matthew and Tiffany wanted to modernize the brand and the way researchers, practitioners and the general public could engage with the organization. We began with designing a fresh, new brandmark that represents the molecular structure of THC and speaks to themes of collaboration, connection and networks, which are at the foundation of the CCIC. The website was rebuilt from the ground up, and designed to work as a nerve centre for research, resources and educational initiatives across the country. User experience was considered for two core groups: CCIC’s membership who want to access resources, research opportunities and upcoming events, and non-members who want to gain insight into ongoing research from an unbiased source.

Kind words.
